What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly coming. That will round things out once it is live.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The execution is where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Put together those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.

Safety

This is the thing that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform your decision.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that works is your call.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker credit extra capital. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
